FOURTH BIENNIAL TRINIDAD AND TOBAGO ICT BUSINESS AND INNOVATION SYMPOSIUM 2014
The Government of the Republic of Trinidad and Tobago through the Ministry of Science and Technology in partnership with the National Information and Communication Technology Company Limited (iGovTT) and the e-Business Roundtable is pleased to announce the hosting of the 4th Trinidad and Tobago ICT Business and Innovation Symposium. This event, currently the only one of its kind in the Caribbean region, is carded for November 9 – 11, 2014 at the Hyatt Regency, Trinidad.
The theme of the two-day Symposium, “smarTT solutions for a smart society” brings together regional and international Governmental organisations and Non-Governmental organisations, Technology Partners, Industry Leaders, Business Innovators and Academia to influence the future direction of ICT policies and programmes in the region.
The discussion and debate on ICT (information and communication technology) as a tool for economic development continues, moving from “Realising the Future: From Vision to Reality”, the theme of the 2012 ICT Symposium to this year’s focus on the myriad programmes under the National ICT Plan of Trinidad and Tobago – smarTT, aimed at developing a knowledge-based society.
